What do you say to someone who say's they here from the Lord?

have a friend who I just got reconnected with on Facebook. I used to talk to her all the time years ago and she would always share with me about what the Lord has shown her and how He speaks to hear and taught her all kinds of things. The only thing is, none of it is grace teaching!
I talked to her today and she did all the talking. She first started telling me about some books she read and then she talked about Elijah. Sorry Kab, I got it wrong, I meant Elijah. Anyway, she said that people have always thought that Elijah was taken into heaven, but he wasn't, he was just removed by God, all because he didn't want to carry on with his ministry anymore. She said that people think that he was taken to heaven or paradise, but that there is no scripture to support that.
Then she talked about the rapture. She said that she doesn't believe that there is because, once again, there is no scripture to support that. She said that people are believing this false doctrine and that instead of believing in the Lord, they are believing that we will be raptured out. She said that if we really love the Lord we will allow the Lord to let us go through things if He wills.
I tried to get in the conversation, but she kept hogging it, lol. I did tell her that I do believe we will be raptured out before the tribulation, but I really didn't get a chance to explain.
Then she said talked about the things that we haven't let go of in the Lord. Such as unforgivness. She said that when we have things that we still hold on too in our flesh, that the Lord at times reveals these things to us and deals with them, but only if we are willing. She said that, that is what His redemptive work is and that the Lord doesn't want us taking this stuff with us when we go to heaven.
Everything she said, she believes it was all revealed to her by the Lord. When I used to talk to her, I would always think that the Lord would only talk to her because of how confident she was about it. She truly believes that all she has learned is from the Lord.
Another thing she told me was with certain incidents she has one being at a park she went too, there were a couple of girls there and one started beating up on the other. When it was done, my friend said she started praying for the girl who was beat up. . .praying that this girl would not suffer any trama or and to bless her. Then she started to pray for the girl who did the beating, at which point she said the Lord told her not to pray for her because, as she said, "He was going to deal with that." She said she agreed with the Lord and then told me that sometimes when we pray for those to be blessed that is not always a good thing because the blessing we pray for may not be what the Lord wants.
I told her we need to pray for those anyway, those who persecute us. Even tho she wasn't being persecuted, but that little girl was being attacked.
By the time I got off the phone with her, I was just a swirling in all this stuff because she kept going on and on! I think she really was trying to persuade me to change my thinking, but I didn't say anything I just listend. It was a lot to take in.
She said that she doesn't believe that there one thing for the Jews and one thing for the Gentiles. I tell you what, she can be pretty persuaisve is she wants too, but I'm not going there. I know what I believe and I have such peace about it.
What do you all think about that. Im sure she'll be calling me again soon. I'm still learning alot of things and even though I haven't studied as long as you all have, I truly believe what I have learned is Gods truth. But what my friend was saying sounded so foreign to me, but she sounds so convincing. She say's how she tells everyone who wants to know the truth to ask God for themselves and He will tell them. As in audibly along with reading the word.
I just couldn't talk to her, I did say what I believed, but all she say's is, "um hmm" she doesn't say anything else.
I don't know when we'll talk again, but I pray that I'm prepared and that the Lord will give me the words to say to her.

Hey Diana,
Whatever God has to say, He has to say to ALL of us and He does it IN HIS WORD.
All other "so called" communications, however sincere and well meant, OR however confidently asserted, are actions of the FLESH and should be regarded as such.
If and when this lady can back up her assertions with the Word of God, then she has proved herself to be a "workman that doesn't need to be ashamed."
She is going on "emotion", and "feelings" and we all know how those can be used by the devil to get us all off track.
"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God"...not by how we feel.
Those who STUDY get answers. Just cuz you talk the most or louder doesn't mean you are RIGHT.
I would tell her that fellowship is an exchange of edifying words FROM God...or found in His Word...not a monogue by her of HER idea of what is true and what isn't. She is merely voicing opinion and not backing up ANYTHING with what God has said.
She is unstudied and prideful, but most of all immature. If she will not listen to SOUND DOCTRINE , then you need to avoid her.
Does this help?

Yes, it makes sense. The one thing she does say is how God shows her in scripture all that she has learned. When she told me that she doesn't believe any more that there is a rapture, a red flag went up. She said that she doesn't find anywhere in scripture where the Lord did to anyone. She say's she has studied this and although she used to believe that, she doensn't anymore and that we as Believers should just accept if the Lord wants us here to deal with things then we should allow that, because He is the One that matters and all that other is just our flesh allowing it. She does give me scripture where she say's the Lord shows her what she asks Him about
When she talks about the Lords dbr, she doesn't say that, that is what we are to believe on.
What was weird is after not talking to her for so long, after I got off the phone with her, I was shaking, it was so strange!

Diana,
I have a friend like this as well. She is very much into "the Lord showed me this and the Lord showed me that" but she is very feeling oriented and yanks scripture from its context all over the place. It is easy for these types of folks to be led by every wind of doctrine because they don't follow Gods instructions to rightly divide the Word of truth, and they still think God is intervening in every little thing they do. I do alot of listening, and obviously, we don't spend much time with them.
Some do not have willing minds to let go of the beliefs that have no scriptural support and embrace truth. Not much we can do, but it sure does bug the heck out of me.

I know! I think the last time I talked to her, she was telling me something different. I have noticed that she does go from type of doctrine to another.
I had asked her the last time I talked to her which was about 4 years ago, why is she the only one who see's these "things" that the Lord has shown her. How come no one else is learning the same thing. She didn't have an answer!
