It is not always easy, trying, as Paul did, to "make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery"! Some folks will warmly accept you into their homes and hearts, and listen to what you have to say. Others will gently tell you that they do not need to hear what you have to say. And still others, like this lady that wrote to me, are not so gentle!

In attempting to explain that the use of tongues, and healing, and the laying on of hands, for the Acts 2 baptism of the Holy Ghost, which the Pentecostals practice, had passed, and even explaining that Paul said WHEN they would pass, I must have struck a nerve. I explained that I, too, was a deceived believer in a Pentecostaal church, although not a Oneness Pentecostal, like this lady attends, at one time. I told her that I hated to be the one to tell her that she was deceived, as I was. I was very gentle, and used every opportunity to explain myself. What follows is her answer to me (it is a little strong). I post this ONLY to encourage others to continue in "Making ALL men see what is the fellowship of the mystery", regardless of what others say about or to you. Remember, I was telling this lady that Paul did NOT baptize people, and even thaanked God that he had only baptized Crispus and Gaius, because Christ sent him NOT to baptize, but to preach the Gospel of the Grace of God.

Here is my "love letter from a Pentecostal":

From: truthbearer

Subject: Re: Baptism, and the wrong dispensation.

Message: Ac 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
Ac 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Ac 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Ac 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Ac 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Ac 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Ac 19:7 And all the men were about twelve.

You are liar and the truth is not in you, oh deceitful worker of Satan. I rebuke your changing of Scripture to fit your dead religion. Paul did not say when the Word of God is complete these things cease. u made that up. He said when that which is perfect is come then knowledge will also cease. You did not see that part did you? He said we will have these things until the church is perfected into the fullness of Christ. sorry you are not in it. But then you would be a misfit in Heaven with all that shouting and rejoicing going on.

A "deceitful worker of Satan"! I wrote her back, and told her that she should not judge fellow believers, and condemn them. I told her that she was typical of the Pentecostals, and then I gave her links to our site here, as well as the Berean Bible Society, and Right Division dot com. Perhaps she will visit and be changed.

NEVER be discouraged! Not all people will be kind, especially believers! I have had kinder words from atheists! Bless you all.

I hear ya, Darryl...

People are quite threatened when their "sacred cows" are approached. Its as if you are lookin to make a nice steak dinner and they feel the need to protect the "BEAST" from your dishonorable intentions. LOL LOL

It just goes to prove that human nature really doesn't seek after truth, and those who seek are told that they are the ones who will find it.

Most folks will trot happily along with the status quo.

One must already have a willing mind, or this message will fall on deaf ears.

How are you doing otherwise, guy? Do you still have enough work? Family ok?
