Some startling differences in the ministry of the 12 as compared with Paul

The Twelve apostles:

Representatives of the NATION of Israel. 12 Tribes/12 men/12 thrones. (Matt. 19:28)

Paul:

Representative of the BODY of Christ. ONE man/both Jew and Gentile/Reconciled (Eph. 2:16)

The Twelve Apostles:

Called by Christ on EARTH. (Luke 6:13)

Paul:

Called by Christ in HEAVEN. (Acts 9:3-5)

Is there a difference here? Can you see the TWO belief systems represented? (Judaism AND Christianity)

Here are a few more concrete differences that will knock yer socks off.

The 12 only knew Christ on EARTH (Acts 1:9)

Paul knew only Christ in HEAVEN (1 Cor. 15:

The 12 were sent to ISRAEL and the nations (Matt:10:5,6 Luke 24:47,48)

Paul was sent to ALL men everywhere (Rom. 10:12 and 11:42)

The 12 were sent to proclaim Gods PROPHESIED PROGRAM which was salvation to the Gentiles through Israels RISE (Acts 3:24-26)

Paul was sent to proclaim Gods SECRET PURPOSE which was salvation to the Gentiles through Israels FALL (Rom. 11:7-33)

Things that differ are certainly NOT the same. Discussion on any of these clear distinctions?

 Just a few added facts to help clarify things, added in red.

1) Paul was sent to all men(BOTH Jew and Gentile) everywhere.

2)The 12 were sent to proclaim Gods PROPHESIED PROGRAM which was salvation to the Gentiles through Israels RISE (Acts 3:24-26)(Israels' hegemony-which was how it had been since Israels inception with Abraham).

3) Paul was sent to proclaim Gods SECRET PURPOSE which was salvation to the Gentiles(and Kingdom Gospel rejecting Jews) through Israels FALL (Rom. 11:7-33)

 These further distinctive points added in red are often overlooked when showing the differnces between the 2 programs. Also there is a tendency by many to think or express the Body of Christ, the church, to be Gentile ONLY.
