LU...that was good.  Yes, I love to sit by the fire and watch iit snow...and the moose walk by.  To nap a little, to dream...to meditate on the word of God.   Smiley  So, after a half hour...I need to move a bit!  Tongue  But it is below 15 degrees, and that is just too cold for me and my two miniture Schnauzers to go for our walk!  I love to walk and praise God, praying and singing songs.   Grin

Christine...lot's of good subjects to discuss going on here!  Lot's of good things to help with the agiing process, too.  Cool

How are your babies?   Grin

Mari,

My babies are getting older. My tortoiseshell cat just turned 18 yrs old and is still healthy, but slowing down like her mom (me.) Muffin just had minor surgery for a small tumor found on her chest (eight stitches) but it is non cancerous so for this I am grateful. Daisy is just getting more and more loving every day (when we first got her it took five years before she would let us pet her) and our newest addition, our tiger cat, makes us laff with his crazy antics and pretzel like positions he gets himself into. They are a source of constant delight to us. Here are the two pups. Daisy only has three legs and she is the red dog.

That is too funny Christine that you have a dog named Daisy!  I have a dog named Daizy, I use a z because I call her Crazy Daizy!  She sounds like your Daisy, because ours is doesn't like to be held, when we pet she runs off and then comes back.  She's strange all right, lol!
She is always checking her behind, and we have to tell her it's still there!LOL Huh

Giggles at Diana.

Aren't our fluffy friends a hoot and a half??? I don't know what I would do without them.

I wrote a post, but lost it.   Angry

Before I forget...Diana, have you had Daizy's glands checked?  Often that is why they look at themselves...it is a pressure and can get quite painful so that they do not even want to be touched anywhere else.  These glands need to be drained periodically at the Vets.  It is not a big deal and inexpensive...but can make a huge difference in the physical comfort of the pet, and the mental state of comfort as well.

Christine...I think the tumors are typical of the breed.  We have had to have some removed from ours as well.  We choose to do it when they have their teeth cleaned about once a year.

The picture of them is priceless!  Toooooo cute, our furry little friends!

I tried to put some pictures on...but it did not work.  Gotta figure it out...l Huh

Mari, I didn't think of that because she doesn't scoot around as I've been told that some dogs do.  It's like she checks with her head, you know turning her around quickly and sniffs.

I really need to take her to the vet anyway, but she acts so wild.  Everytime I try to get her to come to me, she comes, then runs off.  If I try to put her leash on, she does the same thing.  I really don't get her.  My other dog, loves his leash and comes to us.

I think I will take her to the vet.

Thanks!! Wink

Christine, I love my furbabies, but Daizy is a pistol as I told Mari.   Cheesy

Diana,

You are right, that is a big sign, but not all dogs do that.  My rescue Schnauzer only looks too...but then they were very full!  She did not want to be picked up and would throw a hissy fit...well, once we had her glands checked and expressed, she doesn't mind being picked up at all anymore!

If I can figure out how to add pictures here...I will share our moose and baby with you.  :-)

Diana, it is worth the try!

If I go under additonal options and browse....pic my picture and double click...it goes in...but it says the picture is too big.  How do I make it smaller to post...I don't see that option?   Tongue

Additional options...browse your stored pics and pic the one you want. If you have Photoshop you can edit the size on that....Photobucket has that feature but is limited.
